Ashraf Armia is a consultant cornea, refractive, cataract, and anterior segment reconstruction eye surgeon at Al Watany Eye Hospital (WEH), Cairo, Egypt. He is the CEO of Ashraf Armia Eye Clinic, and CEO of Armia&s Ophthalmology Training Observer-ship Academy AOTOA, Cairo, Egypt. He is a founder member of the Global Education and Research Society of Ophthalmology GERSO and e shareholder of Al Watany Eye Hospital (WEH) and the Watany Research and Development Centre WRDC, Cairo, Egypt. He is a Fellow of The Royal College Of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and The American College of Surgeons in Ophthalmic Surgery. Dr. Armia is a reviewer for the JCRS journal and an Editorial Board Member of the EC Ophthalmology Journal. He has been chosen as the surgeon of the month worldwide by the International Society of Refractive Surgery ISRS, part of the American Academy of Ophthalmology AAO. Finally, he has been an international lecturer and speaker since 2013 at the ASCRS, ESCRS, AAO, and AECOS.

Otman Sandali is an ophthalmologist at the XV-XX National Ophthalmology Hospital in Paris and private practice in Bourges, France. He has published over fifty articles in ophthalmology. He has been a reviewer for many prestigious indexed journals, including Ophthalmology, Ocular Immunology and inflammation, Current eye research, Journal of Medical Case, Clinical Ophthalmology, Acta Ophtalmologica, and the European journal of ophthalmology. He was Guest Editor at the Journal of Clinical Medicine (Impact Factor = 4.242) and Frontiers in Medicine (Impact Factor = 4.468). Dr. Otman Sandali has co-organized Practical Ophthalmology Webinars since 2018 with a platform with more than 1,400 subscribers. Finally, Dr. Otman Sandali co-developed Staff Ophtalmo, the first collaborative application in ophthalmology.

Dr. Rachid Tahiri is an ophthalmologist trained at the Faculty of Medicine of Paris VII, with over ten years as Intern and Practitioner at the Quinze-Vingts National Eye Hospital in Paris. He holds a medical license from the Medical Council of Canada, is certified by the European Board of Ophthalmology, and is a member of the College of the National Academy of Surgery in France.

Dr. Tahiri has authored over fifty peer-reviewed publications, including the world&s first description of en face anterior segment OCT in Ocular Surface. He is Associate Editor for the Journal Français d&Ophtalmologie (JFO) and JFO Open Ophthalmology (JFOP), and has served as Guest Editor for Frontiers in Medicine and the Journal of Clinical Medicine. He has reviewed articles for more than twenty indexed journals.

Since 2018, he has co-organized the Webinars of Practical Ophthalmology (WOP), now followed by more than 2,400 registered participants.

He holds several scientific and institutional roles, including expert for the French Haute Autorité de Santé in national diabetes guidelines, expert jury member for BPI France since 2023. He also serves on the Scientific Committees of the ARMD Congress, the VuExplorer Institute, the French Society of Ocular Imaging and Ultrasound (SFEIO), and the AI Committee of the Middle East Ophthalmology Meeting (MEOM) in Dubai.

Internationally, Dr. Tahiri represents the French Retina Society in Morocco and is the Moroccan Ambassador for the International MaculArt Congress.

In Morocco, he co-founded the Moroccan Society of Ocular Imaging and Artificial Intelligence (SMIO-IA), co-organizes its annual congress and workshops, contributes to the University Diploma in Ocular Imaging at the International University of Rabat, serves as Deputy Secretary General of the Moroccan Society of Vitreoretinal Diseases, and is Associate Editor of the Moroccan Journal of Ophthalmology (JMO).
