Prone to Mold

"An incredibly cute cup, adorable designs, glass straw was easy to clean and would have made debris visible [only drank water out of it] and felt quite sturdy despite being lightweight. But after using only water with it, hand washing and not allowing water to sit in it the wood along the top developed mold. I'm not sure what I would do to alleviate this issue, a metal top perhaps, but it's a real shame. I would have liked maybe one or two more of their new designs before this discovery."
