A classic tale that peaks imagination!

"Talk about climate change!! This book invites us into a world in which our food literally falls from the sky. Very fun to imagine and problem solve as the story unfolds. Detailed and evocative illustrations."

A favourite of mine and now my sons

"A favourite from my childhood and thrilled my son loves it too. The illustrations are beautiful, creative and a little unsettling, but in a good way. I would highly recommend."

Strange Story With Little Relation To The Title

"A very strange story, but the ending is sweet. And I'm not sure what it says about me, but I'm disappointed that the title apparently had nothing to do with the story itself; it barely related to the bedtime story the grandfather told to the kids, in my opinion. I've always wanted to read this one, but I must admit I expected more."

One of My Favourite Childhood Stories!

"This one was a favourite for me- I used to love when my teacher's would read it aloud to us. The story line was entertaining, and I loved the illustrations. I always took my time exploring them- there's quite a bit going on! A classic children's story."

I liked this book

"But it wasn't exactly on par with my favourite childhood reads. Still good though"

Charming story.

"I think everyone has once thought about what it would be like if food rained down from the sky and this book tells you how that might go. Definitely a good family story."
