She was a partner at General Catalyst, a multibillion-dollar global venture capital firm, leading Health Assurance strategy, investment theses, and value creation. She created and commercialized inaugural ecosystem partnerships for 75+ portfolio companies, delivering network effect and revenue acceleration. As a strategic growth operator, Chitra has held leadership roles in technology and early-stage companies, pioneering a new category as cross-industry Market Maker. She delivered AI and digital transformation solutions to Fortune 500 C-Suite executives.

Chitra is the author and host of the USA Today Bestseller, The CodeBreaker Mindset™, book and podcast. She has served on the President of the United States Advance Team (The White House) and as an Adjunct Professor at Rutgers Business School.
