Good Story, Nice Spice

"I finished this book and actually kept reading the series, I'm currently on book 5. The author creates an interesting dark world with vampires and their never ending war with their enemy. The author's take on vampires is a bit different than your typical stereotype which I enjoy. There are some spicy scenes, although I sometimes find them lackluster, they're just about to get good when the chapter ends. I am finding as I continue to read through the series they do seem to get more intimate which I am here for. I really enjoy the banter between characters, the dialogue feels authentic, genuine, and you can feel the camaraderie between the brothers. I also really enjoy how the author dates the scenes by using real in life items/terms/songs that would have been used at the time of the writing, definitely gives it an early 2000's vibe. I am definitely enjoying this series and will continue to read."
