Dream and Destiny
Youssef dreams of meeting his beloved at a half-open door in a stone courtyard behind the Old Mosque of Sfax.
He meets Layan after centuries of a promise made by their ancestors to reunite at that very place, and they are brought together by divine destiny.

Sami and Noura grow up, marry, and grandchildren fill the courtyard with laughter and stories of the first ancestors.
The village celebrates their reunion at every full moon, and Sheikh Omri prays for the blessing of the eternal promise.
The two rings shine brighter with each generation, a symbol of love that endures beyond time and trials. On a final night, Youssef and Layan depart this world in each other’s arms, as a heavenly light floods the courtyard and the world.
