Jo Cotterill has worked as an actress and a teacher, but is now a full time author. She has written many books including the Sweet Hearts series for Random House and recently standalone novels Looking at the Stars and A Library of Lemons published by Bodley Head. She also runs the multi-author blog Girls Heart Books.

Cathy Brett began her career as a fashion and then graphic designer. She is the author/illustrator of Ember Fury, finalist in the Young Minds Book Award and Scarlett Dedd which was a Richard and Judy Book Club selection.
