Reviews

A simple idea that genuinely shifts your mindset

"Let Them is a small book with a surprisingly big impact. It takes a concept we all know on some level — letting people be who they are — and translates it into something incredibly freeing. The writing is straightforward, warm, and so easy to absorb, but the message stays with you. If you’re looking for a quick read that brings instant clarity and reminds you to protect your peace, this one is absolutely worth it."

Everything but money review

"Good light read, reviews the thoughts and patterns in place that cause poor financial choices"

Don't Let Him In

"This was a really tough read. When you realize that the main character has been acting this way for decades without being caught. That he is a liar, a cheat, a bigamist, a stalker and a murderer. And that he is ripped from today's headlines and could be anyone you know or have met along the way. Chilling, enthralling and heart-stopping."

Life changing!

"Life changing!! My husband really appreciates that I discovered Jessica!"

A great book about a complicated subject

"Money is a complicated subject and everybody has a complicated relationship with it. Jessica's book explains why. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book."

Engaging and insightful

"I’ve read a lot of personal finance books and this one is something different. Not a ‘how to’ but a ‘why. ’ Very engaging, not at all dry like some personal finance books can be, and full of useful information and relatable stories. A must read for anyone on their personal finance journey."

Great book on the psychology of money

"I bought this book after taking Jessica’s blueprint for Canadians course about two years ago. The book itself doesn’t teach you about the basics of personal finance (her course does!), but the psychology behind the book is extensive and well researched. I follow her on Instagram and am a subscriber to her newsletter, and she always provides valuable insights and content into the market, and so does her book! Highly recommended to pick up a copy."

Money Therapy

"I'm really enjoying this book. It has me thinking about why I had money issues and why I think I don't have enough money to retire. I am half way through and I already feel more relaxed."

A must read!

"If you are looking for a personal finance book on budgeting, investing, saving, smart spending then this isn’t the book for you because this book is so much more than these topics. This book's title does complete justice to what it has to offer. 'Everything but money' is a book that is enlightening and empowering. It compels you to go deep into your past, makes you do a lot of introspection and really makes you question your money behaviours. The thing that I love the most about this book is how Jessica has courageously shared her own money traumas which makes the book even more relatable. My biggest takeaway from this book is learning the importance of empathy, not just towards others but also towards myself. I would highly recommend reading this book. It will be totally worth your time and money."

Great read!

"I bought this book last week. It is unique in that it focuses on our emotional connection with money. In particular, how are past and upbringing impacts on our current relationship with money. In short, concentrating on technical financial matters alone, such as budgeting and asset-allocation decisions, will not ensure we reach our financial objectives without addressing the underlying emotional issues. I agree completely with this premise. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and am glad I read it."
