I love the chemistry

"I love the chemistry between the two main characters and the fact that everyone can see it but them. Can't wait to read the next book in the series when it releases in Feb 2026."

YES!!!

"First Time Caller by B. K Borison Was so lovely! Single mom Lucie is looking for her match, Love is filled in her life with her 12 year old daughter, Coparents and her BFF who runs a super successful café…But what about romantic love? Lucie’s story of finding love, end up on a radio show, hosted by (hottest man ever) Aiden Valentine. After taking an interest in her story, Lucie and Aiden become unlikely friends, co hosts and maybe more??? a 5 ⭐️ from Jada."

ROMANCE IS CONTAGIOUS

"Such a cute read!!! The aesthetic of the book pours out of all pages, and the characters are all so loveable. The relationship between Lucie and Aiden is so relatable and I can’t get enough of this book!"

Loved it

"Such a fun, cute, refreshing rom-com. A love letter to chosen families and baltimore. Nearly perfect, except I hate when characters make choices for others."

LOVED IT!!!

"This was book was incredible from start to finish. The radio show, and the role it played in the bringing the main characters together, was another thing I fell in love with. The characters (not just the main ones!) were all genuinely so lovable. There were some laugh out loud moments for me. & finally, the chemistry between the main characters…. Wow. I loved everything about them. Highly recommend this as your next cozy read."

Unexpectedly Unputdownable

"Extremely enjoyable. I first read this book after seeing Lexi's (newlynova) review of it in her reading recap, and I agree with everything she said. It was so refreshing to read a romance novel where the characters actually had surmountable issues. When I first read it the lack of life-ruining backstories of the mcs threw me off a bit, but by the end I found myself much more satisfied with the ending than I had been with any of the other books I've read recently. The ending is so great because the conflict is simple enough to actually explore and resolve it in a well paced manner. Really one of the better books I've read in 2025."

How the book felt to me

"Since it is a murder mystery the length and the plot of the book was centered around that, this led to some side plots not being as well developed. For example, the romance felt a bit rushed and there were moments that were supposed to make the reader feel for the couple, it just came out flat and emotionless. There was also little to no development in some of the characters which left them feeling empty or just there for the specific scene. Overall the book had a good main plot but not that great side plots."

10/10 must read!

"4. 75 ⭐️ I really enjoyed this book and I liked that it used the single mom trope but in a difference way by not making the father a deadbeat. I really enjoyed seeing Lucy and Aiden’s relationship develop but I also loved seeing Lucy’s relationship with Grayson and Matteo and their daughter (the only reason this book isn’t a 5 star for me is because I wish we got a little more backstory into Lucy and Grayson’s family) I don’t know if it gave Sleepless in Seattle for me personally but it gave old school rom-com and I’m in love."
