The characters feel real, messy, and human, which makes the stakes even higher. An absolutely gripping read from start to finish. The entire story takes place over just eight hours, but the suspense is nonstop. Intriguing Thriller

"I heard a lot of bad reviews of this book which had deterred me from reading however those were far from the truth. I love this book so much and I like how it wasn’t played “safe” so to speak, without spoiling it. This book was interesting to read, seeing each hour and how everything played out and I think the romance subplot was well played out. This book is a great standalone and in my opinion, holly jackson’s second best book."

"The first sentence I read had me hooked. I love Holly Jackson and in my opinion this was by far the most exciting and captivating book. Not repetitive at all and the perfect pace! The characters were written SO GOOOD. She was perfect at making you hate or love a character. The plot twist made perfect sense- no confusion. It fell into place perfect and the amount of twists that left my jaw open the entirety of reading it. Not a book you should miss if you love mysterys."
