amazing

"after re reading one of his other books I had to get this one. it is so packed with mindfullness information. i used to practice this all the time, and unfortunately slipped out of many of the practices. this book is helping me get back on the right track to awareness, and peace of mind."

Judy (5/5)

Love this

"This is the first book on mindfulness by the author that I brought and it gives you all the information on mindfulness techniques. He introduce the practice of mindfulness to the masses to help us slow down and become aware of our surroundings. The techniques really helps me to relax and slow down after a busy day. Spend a few minutes practicing the techniques and you will really foster a positive outlook in life."

Great for beginners

"This is a great book when you're starting to figure out what exactly mindfulness is, how it started, why, and most importantly how and why it will help you. The book is like a course it starts off with small simple exercises and then gets a little more difficult, but it's all at your own pace"

Shana113 (5/5)

Even better than the earlier edition

"I have taken the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction course so I am familiar with the content. I also read the previous version of the book. I must say this new and improved version is very comprehensive but easy to read. Each chapter takes the reader along a path to self discovery and self help. The book provides many opportunities to practice the suggested practices. If you are someone who is suffering or who treats those who are suffering - it is a must-have. I highly recommend it."

Jackie (5/5)

A wonderful book by a true master of mind-body medicine

"A must-read for anyone interested in the human condition and ways to deal more effectively with life's challenges along the way through mindfulness and meditation. As a social worker who works with children, adolescents and adults, I found this book very useful. It provides all kinds of insight into the ways we, as humans feel things good or bad, pleasurable or traumatic and are imprinted by them as well as ways to move forward more gracefully and with much less baggage, no matter what we have been through and are faced with."
