Chan is a professor in the Anne & Henry Zarrow School of Social Work and Founding Director of The Hope Research Center at the University of Oklahoma. He has written more than 150 scientific publications on the science of hope. He is one of the leading hope researchers in the country today and resides in Tulsa, OK.
