Sergeant First Class William Delequa begins a treacherous march with two cavalry scouts on a blistering summer morning. Their mission is to establish an observation post to deter enemy forces during a massive war-game exercise at the joint action training command in Camp Polk, Louisiana.
As the soldiers navigate the unrelenting forest for hours on end, they stumble upon a stranger in the wilderness. This stranger is Kurt Munn, a deranged and psychotic husband who has committed heinous acts against his wife, Ava Munn, and her lover, Denis Hallberson, deep within the boonies.
Personalities collide and tempers ignite as the trio of soldiers are pushed to the breaking point, forced to choose whether to risk their lives to stop a madman bent on revenge. But the lunatic isn't the only presence with them in the bush.
