Mark Blair has been hiking about one weekend a month since 2012. He's covered the length of the Foothills Trail twice, along with several small trails in South and North Carolina. Humble in those tiny victories, he started doing long weekends on the Appalachian Trail with the goal of walking the entire southern half. He spends his spare time thinking about hiking, taking pictures and making videos, and reading other peoples' hiking stories and AT Thru-Hiking books, as well as perusing hiking boards on Facebook and the World Wide Web.
