Narumi Sasaki educates students about how to stay safe online and reduce crime. As the former Director of Digital Investigations for the Saitama Police Department in Japan, he gathered and analyzed digital evidence from computers, security cameras and smartphones, gaining experience in cybercrime investigation. He is currently director of School Police, an organization whose mission is to reduce students' risk of becoming involved in crime. In this role he raises awareness by speaking about crimes involving students, bullying, social media, the spread of inappropriate videos, and other high-stakes topics.

Popoko is an illustrator, nurse and single mother to a young son. She is the illustrator of Manga Guide to Moods for Young People and Sex Isn't a Taboo: What Every Young Person Should Know About Sex, Birth Control, Gender, and Sexual Violence (both from Shufu to Seikatsu Sha), among other books.
"It's a lot to talk through, but this book — with every page laid out with clever design elements and an ongoing comic story interspersed throughout — has helped my kids and me discuss the problematic things we can avoid online. It's a big help for our always-online family!" —KidsR.Us
