Reviews

Rude main character

"The clever main character is rude and saucy to everyone around him. If you are wondering where you children leaned those snarky one liners, it might be from this book."

Lyndsey (1/5)

Camp Adventures

"Bought this book for my 10 year old nephew. Camp pranks and summer adventures that any kid can get into - a great book to add to your kiddo’s bookshelf."

Kara (5/5)

Fun Camp Summer Read

"I read this book every summer at camp when I was younger. I got nostalgic and bought it to read again after Christmas. It's definitely dated but still a fun summer read and it makes me look forward to summer. Two young boys up to hijinks at camp because they don't want to be there and keeping the counselors on their toes is a laugh."

Booklover (5/5)

Funny and witty

"My daughter read many books by the same author and this didn’t disappoint her."

Rachel (5/5)

Entertaining!

"Such a fun story. Ive read this with my 4th grade class but also resd aloud to my own children. . . a couple times"

Jill (5/5)

Laugh out loud!

"A great book for young readers; Korman is always a hit."

Samiam (4/5)

Hilarious book

"A very fun book to read. My 9 years old enjoyed reading this book. He was laughing out loud."

Mira (5/5)

Definitely a favorite!

"Absolute classic. I love this book! I replace the copy in my classroom at least once a year because of the wear and tear it receives from being read so much."

Gailw (5/5)

Miller! Get back here!

"This favourite for 2 generations was purchased as a baby shower gift for the 3rd generation. Still laugh at the escape tactics of reticent summer camper, Rudy Miller and camp counsellor, Chip."

TB902 (5/5)

Best first book

"This is the book I gift to all young readers and people new to English. It’s a great story with humour and action. It’s the first chapter book I ever read cover to cover in one sitting, by myself and it still makes me laugh all these years later. Why watch a movie when you can read this book instead? Good for the whole family."
