Rajib Shaw is a professor in Graduate School of Media and Governance of Keio University, Japan. He is the co-founder of a Delhi (India) based social entrepreneur startup Resilience Innovation Knowledge Academy (RIKA), and RIKA Institute. He is the Co-chair of the United Nations Asia Pacific Science Technology Advisory Group (AP-STAG) and was CLA for IPCC's 6th Assessment Report. Professor Shaw is the recipient of prestigious "Pravasi Bharatiya Samman Award (PBSA)" in 2021 for his contribution in education sector. He also received United Nations Sasakawa Award in 2022 for his lifetime contributions in the field of disaster risk reduction. He published 67 books and over 450 research papers. Dr. Srabani Roy Choudhury is a Professor of Japanese Studies Centre for East Asian Studies, School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Her association with Japan began with the Japan Foundation Fellowship 1996-1997. She has been on a visiting scholar programme at Keizai Koho Centre (2011), the Ministry of Economics and Industry, Japan, Policy Research Institute, Ministry of Finance (2011), Kobe University (2014), Nagoya University (2019), and Keio University (2022). She has been part of many Indian delegations to Japan. Her recent publications are centered on economic diplomacy between Japan and India. She has to her credit four edited volumes Japan- SAARC Partnership: A Way Ahead (Pentagon, 2014); India-Japan Relations @ 70: Building Beyond Bilateral (Knowledge World, 2022). The Indo-Pacific Theatre: Strategic Visions and Frameworks (Routledge, 2023); Japan and Its Partners in the Indo-Pacific: Engagements and Alignment (Routledge, 2023) India-Japan Partnership: Abe the Game Changer (2024).
