"This is a dark thriller that features Jane, a minor character from the book “Don't Let Him In", who at 55 years old has decided she would like to be a private eye. The book can easily be read as a stand alone. It is told from multiple points of view and while it has a slow start, the creep factor quickly grows, complete with missing girls and a dysfunctional family. I enjoyed it and wonder if we might see Jane again in a future book. Thanks to Edelweiss+ for the digital advance reading copy. 4/5"
