Victor Villaseñor is the author of national bestsellers Rain of Gold and Burro Genius. Both memoirs are widely taught in high schools and universities throughout the country. Raised in the barrio of Carlsbad, California, primarily by his Yaqui grandmother, Victor overcame severe dyslexia and cultural barriers to become an internationally recognized writer.
