Esger Duintjer, Ir.B. (1972), Université Technique de Delft, architecte-ingénieur en retraite, a travaillé pendant dix ans dans l'Afrique de l'Ouest. Il est l’auteur d'un lexique Bambara-Français.
Jan Jansen, Ph.D. (1995), Université de Leiden, est un Maître de Conférences en Anthropologie Culturelle à l'Université de Leiden. Il a publié en detail sur la tradition orale mandingue.

Jan Jansen, Ph.D. (1995), Leiden University, is Lecturer in Cultural Anthropology at Leiden University. He has published extensively on the Mande oral tradition.
