Not Just a Great Cookbook!

"Filled with delicious and available ingredients, this cookbook is a welcome blast from the past and from a time in Toronto we can remember. Enjoyed the anecdotes, stories and pictures. I am looking forward to making these recipes!"

Marg (5/5)

Nice book and classic Italian recipes

"a lot of their classic recipes, very comprehensive and a tribute to their family and history. Torta della Nonna is something I always order when I go there so will enjoy making that. Some of the photos the food is burnt and charred, they should have made a new one before photographing, but otherwise it's a nice book."

“Grazie mille! The beloved Toronto restaurants have opened up their kitchens to dish out the step-by-step way to make all of their greatest hits: Gnocchi alla Simmi, salsiccia, that legendary panettone. Woven throughout are stories from this Italian institution, founded in 1992 and delighting the city’s palate ever since.”
