"The Little House on the Prairie forever holds a place in my heart. It shows the struggle of trying to survive in the 1800s. All of the hardships the Ingalls family faces in this story bring me close to tears - every time you think to yourself: ""Okay. Finally things seem to be looking upwards for Laura and her family. "" disaster strikes and they have to overcome another obstacle. This book is a perfect example of why we should never give up - no matter how hard things get."

omg LOVED IT. . . . LOVED ALL THE BOOKS

"I grew up faithfully watching this lovely famly on tv and i was probably about laura's age back in the day. I admired her pluckiness as a character, she didn't just take yes for an answer,she was the one to confront her father (like me) so i identified a lot with her. mary was the sweeter older sister who went blind and then there was the baby, Carrie who didn't say much. I loved how loving the famly was and all the antic of the neighbours (espeically Nelly!!). . . so yes i read this book and would definitely recommend to young readers. very adventurous and lots of humour and good family values."
