Née en 1982 dans l'oblast de Kharkiv, en Ukraine, Yuliia Iliukha est poétesse, écrivaine et journaliste. Elle a écrit plusieurs livres pour adultes et pour enfants. Ses poèmes et récits en prose ont été traduits dans une dizaine de langues et publiés dans des journaux nationaux et internationaux. De nombreuses récompenses lui ont été remises, dont les prix internationaux Oles-Hontchar et Coronation of the Word, ainsi que le prix Smoloskyp. Mes femmes a reçu le prix Chapbook 2023 du 128 LIT et le prix BBC Book of the Year 2024 de BBC News Ukraine, et a déjà été traduit en six langues.
