The title story si about a new trading post established by an oasis in the wilds of West Texas is named Ado after the unexpected death of the founder. The post is later acquired by an ex-Confederate named Mose. The community of Ado begins to grow as Jacob Church another ex-Reb starts a large cattle operation. His ranch is stolen by a railroad tycoon named Morgan and his wife. Jacob never seeming to get excited about his loss is covertly with help from old friends trying to get his ranch back. Will he succeed? The other short stories cover everything from: the oil fields, Albert Einstein, Indians, beans to................ .....and just for fun a few of my poems......
