Must for fans of NGE and casual philosophy readers

"If you're sitting smack-dab in the middle of the Venn Diagram of ""Eva Fan"" and ""Took a BA in Philosophy"", this book is a must. I've followed the Pop Culture & Philosophy series for years. This is one of my favourites. There is a wide range of accessible essays tackling topics like identity and Absurdity, showing that Hideaki Anno's seminal series is deeper than ""giant robots battle giant aliens"". As one of the essays says regarding Eva: ""Come for the giant robots, stay for the existentialism. """
