An Average Read

"This was an enjoyable and fairly typical YA. I don't know why I feel that it is ""typical"" aside from that I feel like it follows the same script as a lot of emotional and dramatic YA reads. I liked it. If you like Sarah Dessen, the writing style and story is quite similar to what she writes. Maybe check it out. Unfortunately, I do think I didn't enjoy this book as much as I would have if I had read it when I was younger. I'm not the intended audience or living those circumstances so the story understandably comes across as 'young' to me. Additionally, with those added years *sigh*, I have also read more books that have told a similar story in a better way. I think I would have had more grace as a teenager and would have thought this book was more relatable and well done. Now though, I have read more books that are more impactful and leave more of an impression."

Madison (4/5)

My favourite Kasie West Book!!

"I loved this, it is my favourite book by her. I have read most of her contemporary novels, except for her new ones. I loved the characters and the whole story line. Charlotte's family was amazing as well. If you're only going to pick up one of Kasie Wests' books I highly recommend this one. #plumreview"

Jennifer (5/5)

Cute but not too cheesy

Melanie (5/5)

Absolutely loved it!

"I have read a lot of this authors books and this is definitely my favourite!"

Casima (5/5)

Cute

"A quick read, very predictable, but a cute story with some touching moments. I did, however, find myself somewhat annoyed with the main character. Maybe some young girls will relate, but I was a sporty ""tomboy"" in my early teens, and I never found myself thinking ""let me hide who I really am so boys will like me!"""

Kasie West's Best Book

"A nice slow burn romance and a fun cast of side characters."

Amanda (4/5)

Good

"This was a good book but not as amazing as the other Kasie West books I've read. I remember telling my classmates the main idea and so when, they finally kissed, i shared that moment with them."
