“Bound to draw comparisons to Ruth Ware and Sophie Hannah, Roz Nay’s crackling debut begins on the scene of a woman being interrogated by police for hours on end, and from there, unfurls a memorably twisted love story.”

A True Psychological Thriller

"This book had my stomach in knots the entire time. I really enjoyed this one. It was a quick read (mostly because I couldn’t wait to get to the end to find out what REALLY happened to Saskia. I enjoyed the structure of the book’s narrative, as the story unfolds slowly through the interrogation of Angela Petitjean. At first I thought Angela was quite likeable and I almost felt sorry for her, being pulled into interrogation so soon after a “friend” goes missing. Unfortunately, as she tells her story, you begin to see the workings of her mind unravel and realize she is not mentally stable and she quickly becomes unlikeable. I was completely engaged by the story from beginning to end and did not fully anticipate the ultimately shocking ending. The last page will leave you gasping, I know it did me in! I highly recommend this light, quick and truly psychological thriller to my fellow thriller fiction fans."

Grabbed my attention

"I really enjoyed this book, at first it seemed like a nice coming of age story, but there were twists along they way. I was interested until the end. #plumreview"

Unsettling thriller

"This one left me feeling a little unsettled - which I guess is a good thing for a psychological thriller. Loved the premise for a book, the interview in the police interrogation room, and love the back and forth in time. Watching the development of the relationship between Angela and HP was very sweet. All the while, there is an undercurrent of uncertainty, which any good unreliable narrator can provide. And Angela is as unreliable as they come, or is she?. Each new detail revealed in the interview was surprising and you are left wondering if you ever really knew any of the characters at all. 4 Stars, recommended highly for anyone who loves psychological thrillers."

Our Little Secret

"I wasn't sure about this one but it was surprisingly good! I couldn't put it down until I knew how it ended. The main character, Angela, is a great story-teller. . . you're not sure if she's telling the truth or twisting things around until the end. Definitely recommend!"

Tara (4/5)

A fast-paced, clever and dark must-read!

"I haven’t had this much fun reading a thriller in a long time. This book is fast a 220 page rollercoaster – buckle up for this fast-paced thriller because Our Little Secret is about to give you whiplash! The story is told from the point of view of Angela, a late 20-something born living in a small town setting. Angela is being held for questioning regarding the disappearance of her ex-boyfriend’s wife. The interrogation room gave a claustrophobic feel to the story and the entire plot is told during an exhausting 24 hour time frame. Roz Nay’s story telling abilities are remarkable. Fast-paced, clever and dark, I could not put this book down. I high recommend this addictive read!"
