A True Psychological Thriller
"This book had my stomach in knots the entire time. I really enjoyed this one. It was a quick read (mostly because I couldn’t wait to get to the end to find out what REALLY happened to Saskia. I enjoyed the structure of the book’s narrative, as the story unfolds slowly through the interrogation of Angela Petitjean. At first I thought Angela was quite likeable and I almost felt sorry for her, being pulled into interrogation so soon after a “friend” goes missing. Unfortunately, as she tells her story, you begin to see the workings of her mind unravel and realize she is not mentally stable and she quickly becomes unlikeable. I was completely engaged by the story from beginning to end and did not fully anticipate the ultimately shocking ending. The last page will leave you gasping, I know it did me in! I highly recommend this light, quick and truly psychological thriller to my fellow thriller fiction fans."
