Reviews

Helpful!

"Helpful to keep toddler focused on staying on potty"

Katie E. (5/5)

Lots of flaps

"We haven’t started training yet but bought this book to introduce the idea to our Elmo-loving toddler. He loves reading it and lifting the (many!) flaps, especially playing peek-a-boo with the flap where Elmo is behind a door. My husband and I joke that Elmo could come off a little condescending to his very enthusiastic potty-training cousin Albie, if you read it the wrong tone, but it is a sweet little story."

Cat G. (5/5)

Great Book!

"Great Book! This covers all the bases and is interactive which makes it a hit for children."

Mommy (5/5)

Helpful!

"Fun book to help with potty training. The cutouts really helped our little one stay on the seat and keep busy."

GEMs (5/5)

A good book

"A good book to introduce a little one to potty training"

Benny (5/5)

Great book for toddlers

"Great book for toddlers and parents who are figuring out potty training. The flaps are fun, have stood up to lots of use so far. Really helped my kiddo make the connection to what happens when you use the potty and that accidents are okay and happen. Would absolutely recommend for any Elmo loving kid that's ready to start potty training."

Andrea A. (5/5)

Potty Training Aid

"This book is so cute, and perfect for helping with potty training. My daughter loves opening the flaps and reading the story while on the potty. She likes learning alongside Elmo and his cousin."

MissG (5/5)

Good Potty Learning Book

"Cute book and my kids loved all the flaps. As a parent I don't love that it says accidents are okay. I feel like it reassures kids in the wrong way. We don't shame for accidents but remind them that they need to use the potty. Otherwise cute."

Lisa (3/5)

Great visuals.

"Very engaging book with all of the flipping options for young readers."

Naomi Kleinberg is a children’s book editor and the author of many children’s books. She lives in New York City in an apartment so filled with books that there’s barely enough room for her family. By odd coincidence, her favorite foods—apples, avocados, and arugula—all begin with the letter A. And she absolutely adores working on and writing Sesame Street books.

Christopher Moroney has illustrated many Sesame Street books, including the popular Sesame Beginnings series.
