'Paul and the Corinthians provides a way into some of the most disputed themes and passages in 1 and 2 Corinthians. I recommend the collection for its representative breadth'.

D. A. Carson in his New Testament Commentary Survey (Grand Rapids: Baker, 2013)

"It is packed to the brim with fresh new information, provocative ideas, and solid scholarly research...This study on 1 and 2 Corinthians by some of the world’s leading New Testament scholars is a must read for all serious students of Paul. It is a timely addition to our existing stock of knowledge on the Corinthian correspondence, one of the storm centers in the scholarly study of Paul."
Stephan Joubert, University of Pretoria, in Review of Biblical Literature, 07/2007

'Insgesamt enthält die Festschrift vielseitige und wichtige Impulse für die weitere Arbeit an den Korintherbriefen und stellt somit eine würdige ehrung der Jubilarin dar.'
Christian Wolf, Theologische Literaturzeitung, 2005.
