Brett N. Steenbarger, Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist, trader, trading coach, and Teaching Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. He has been actively involved in coaching professional traders for over 20 years, with particular experience at hedge funds and proprietary trading firms. He is the author of the popular TraderFeed blog and has written extensively in the area of trading psychology including Trading Psychology 2.0, The Daily Trading Coach, Enhancing Trader Performance, The Psychology of Trading, and the online blog-based book Radical Renewal. He builds on these in his book Positive Trading Psychology.
