This a fast-moving tale with humour, plenty of suspense and twist after twist. If you fancy something different this makes a great read. This book is also under consideration by Viscount Films for the big screen.
It was a cold wet dreary day when Tom Goodwin went to the corner shop to buy some vegetables for his dinner that night. Little did he know fate would swipe her hand on this day and change Tom’s life forever. Tom leaves the greengrocer with his arms filled with vegetables when he bumps into an old university friend Mark.
Tom knew Mark was a bit of a geek and even looked like a typical geek and he had a strange contraption in the corner of his bedsitting room. Now Kelly comes into the scene, Kelly is Mark’s girlfriend but Tom takes an immediate shine to Mark’s girlfriend. What Tom didn’t know the contraption in the corner of the room was a time machine and by accident, it was soon t to send Kelly off into the ether never to return.
Mark convinces his friend Tom to come to the rescue and travel in the machine to find Kelly and bring her safely back home. Tom finds Kelly, who is now Dizzy Lane, a rich and famous actress in her parallel world. How is Tom to convince Dizzy to come home and resume her old life as Kelly a penniless student?
