Praise for Ready Player Two

“Many people think Ernest Cline writes about the future, but what he’s really doing is writing about the complexities of the world we live in today. Whether you’re black, white, woman, or man, this story is about you and what gaming has meant in your life. We already live in the OASIS, and the journey of life is trying to find as many of those Easter eggs along the way!”—Trevor Noah

Reviews

A Fun, Geeky Adventure

"I read Ready Player Two after my teen finished it, mostly so we could talk about it together, and I was surprised by how much fun I had. The book has plenty of quirky, laugh-out-loud moments, especially with all the over-the-top pop culture references that had my kid cracking up and then pausing to explain things to me. Honestly, that alone was worth the read. As a parent, I appreciate that it’s fast paced and imaginative enough to keep a young reader hooked, but still has that sense of humor that makes it enjoyable for adults too. It sparked a lot of fun conversations for us about games, choices, and even teamwork. If you have a gamer kid or a teen who loved the first book, this one is a great pick for shared reading time. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4/5)"

Cline did it again!!! Crazy fun!

"Ladies and gentlemen…. we are gathered here today to get get through this thing called…a book review of A sequel that picks up where Ready Player One left off. An excellent piece of literature that grooves as well as its predecessor…another book that feels like a perfect pop song! Cline still had a massive cache of wonderfully detailed and accurate 80’s pop culture to write about that kept me engaged and locked in until the end! Multiple reads to be had on this one for sure!"

Sonja (4/5)

Very Poignant Book!

"You’ll want to order this as you order the first because you’ll really want to read them in quick succession."

Cala (5/5)

A worthy successor to Ready Player One

"I was entertained by the movie ""Ready Player One"" but I have never read the book. The sequel novel was an absorbing read and does continue smoothly from where the first novel left off. It raises interesting questions about the blurred boundaries between simulation/AI and reality."
