Perfect size/content for a small trip.

"What’s not to love about Rick’s books? Great little guide for a short trip we are preparing for."

Mel L. (5/5)

Great book for site seeing very specific locations

"This book is very well written and contains lots of valuable information in a concise format with useful pictures. The map was very nice to have even if we used our phones a lot; unfortunately the best way to use this info is to follow along on the walks in specific popular areas. We needed more info on other parts that were not really discussed much (flea market & the Canal area where we stayed, for example). The info we did use (how to use the metro, grocery stores, etc and a tour of the Père Lachaise cemetery that we got online) was very useful. This book is great - just make sure it has what you need! Thanks; Rick, for making it easier for us on our first trip to Paris."

Jujube F. (5/5)

helpful guide but map is not great

"Good details but the map in the back was not very helpful, hard to read and very small print."

A book to read before you travel to Paris.

"The book was very informative and easy to read. I read the book prior to my upcoming trip and will also bring with me while travelling for reference."

Mary F. (5/5)

Insanely Helpful

"I had some last minute planning to do and this book helped me create an itinerary satisfying enough that I got the most out of my trip despite the few days I was there. It was up to date and had so many great recommendations!"

Mawie (4/5)

Very Useful Resource

"Very useful information in a convenient format. Helped us have a wonderful Paris visit!"

Margaret (5/5)

Bienvenue à Paris

"This is an excellent book which focuses entirely on Paris. This city is full of not-so-well-known places which are well worth visiting."

Clara (5/5)

The title is simple, clear and to the point.

"A very helpful resource for planning a trip to Paris."

Meaningful moments with Rick Steves Pocket Paris

"Rick Steves is my top/only choice for travel advice. I have had friends ditch their guides and borrow mine from Rick Steves for detailed tours within museums and galleries and to decide where to go and how to get there. The pocket size of this guide is perfect for daily excursions. There are often lovely details included that make each visit memorable."

Since 1973, Rick Steves has spent about 100 days a year exploring Europe. His mission: to empower Americans to have European trips that are fun, affordable, and culturally broadening. A New York Times-bestselling author, Rick produces a guidebook series, a public television series, and a public radio show, and he organizes small-group tours that take over 30,000 travelers to Europe annually. He does all of this with the help of more than 100 well-traveled staff members at Rick Steves’ Europe in Edmonds, WA (near Seattle). When not on the road, Rick is active in his church and with advocacy groups focused on economic and social justice, drug policy reform, and ending hunger. What’s the ideal vacation for a professional traveler? For Rick, it’s to play his piano, relax at his family cabin in the Cascade Mountains, and spend time with family and friends at home in Edmonds.
