“The most original novel I’ve read in a very long time. If Tolkien had written World War Z, pondering the ravages of time and the facets of human nature, it would have come out something like this. An excellent start to what’s sure to be a series we’re all talking about.”

—Christopher Golden, New York Times bestselling author of ROAD OF BONES and CARRY ME TO MY GRAVE

"A masterclass in world building! Rise from These Dark Waters is equal parts heartwarming and horrifying, and will leave you anxiously waiting for the next book in the series."

--Alex Grecian, NYT bestselling author of Red Rabbit and The Boatman

"A wonderful book of politics, horror, and survivor's guilt, Rise From These Dark Waters was not remotely what I expected--in all the very best ways."

-- Peter Clines, NYT-bestselling author of God's Junk Drawer and the Ex-Heroes series
