Timothy Kelly earned an MA in theology and pastoral counseling from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and a PhD in clinical psychology from Vanderbilt University. His career calling has included faculty appointments, senior governmental positions, and psychological care for those in need. Timothy has served on the faculty of several universities, including as Associate Professor of Clinical Psychology and Director of Clinical Training at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA. He has published opinion editorials in the Washington Post and has been interviewed on NPR radio. Timothy is happily married to a very successful professional musician and is himself a guitarist and singer. They make their home in Franklin, Tennessee—not far from where Timothy's sister Sarah Young is buried.
