"I did savor this one. Tarah Dewitt is now my newest favourite author. I read book two, Left of Forever first because of all the amazing posts raving about it. It was fun to go backwards in time to witness Sage and Fisher’s love story and get a peek at Ellis and Wren. Sage is a FMC deeply rooted in reality. Her insecurities and people pleasing are sure to resonate with many women. She is quirky, owns many rescue animals and her devotion to her small town made me love her completely. Fisher is an out of town Michelin star chef who is struggling after taking guardianship of his niece after his sister’s death. He comes to Spunes to help prepare a new restaurant for opening, hoping to get his life back together. He’s only in Spunes for the summer. Sage and Fisher have immediate chemistry and Tarah deserves a Michelin star of her own because I ate this one up. It was perfection. I did enjoy Left of Forever a bit more, but both were five star reads for me. I highly recommend this series and I’m waiting impatiently for the next book."
