"I love the idea of a fever giving you a cool and useful power. Don't love the fact that the fever has to kill you to give you that power and there is no guarantee you will come back to life. I can't imagine taking that risk with my child's life, even if it meant they had a power. This book was a fast paced read and it kept me engaged from beginning to end. I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series when it comes out."
