José Janiere Silva de Souza  was born in Cedro (Ceará, Brazil), on December 28th, 1994. He holds a degree in Industrial Mechatronics Technology from the Federal Institute of Education, Science, and Technology of Ceará (IFCE), Cedro Campus (2017), and a master&s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Ceará (2020). Currently, he is a professor of Basic, Technical, and Technological Education at IFCE-Cedro Campus and a Ph.D. candidate in Electrical Engineering at the Federal University of Ceará (UFC). His current research focuses on investigating the effects of soiling on photovoltaic systems in a semi-arid environment.

Paulo Cesar Marques de Carvalho was born in Fortaleza (Ceará, Brazil), on April 22nd, 1963. Paulo Cesar Marques de Carvalho holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Ceará (UFC) (1989), a master&s degree in electrical engineering from the Federal University of Paraíba (1992), and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Paderborn, Germany (1997). Currently, Paulo Cesar Marques de Carvalho is a full professor of the Department of Electrical Engineering at UFC, working in graduate programs in electrical and mechanical engineering at UFC. Current research of Paulo Cesar Marques de Carvalho focuses on teaching, research, and extension experience in the areas of energy planning, photovoltaic generation, wind generation, and biodigesters. Paulo Cesar Marques de Carvalho is a coordinator of the Alternative Energies Laboratory at UFC and CNPq researcher.
