Guohua Xie is a full professor at the Institute of Flexible Electronics (Future Technologies) of Xiamen University, focusing on the interdisciplinary research of solution-processed organic optoelectronic materials and devices. He worked on OLED microdisplays and obtained his PhD degree from Jilin University (China) in 2011. He carried out his postdoctoral research investigating the stability of OLEDs at TU Dresden (Germany), sponsored by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. Dr. Xie worked for an OLED-based interdisciplinary project funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC, United Kingdom) at the Organic Semiconductor Center of the University of St Andrews from January 2013 to January 2015 and was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry in 2020. Dr. Xie served as an associate professor at the College of Chemistry and Molecular Sciences of Wuhan University (China) between 2015 and 2022. He has coauthored more than 200 peer-reviewed publications and contributed to three edited book chapters on organic optoelectronics.
