Humanity from the beginning of time has attempted to find one overarching unity between our experienced reality and our real inner journey. From broad generalizations that all men are created equal to thinly sliced prejudices to explain why one belief system or physical type is better than another, humans continue to seek subjective fusion that can be represented in our objective experiences. It is the quest for the immutable law of being which can also be called the I AM that provides inner peace and shared pleasure and propelled the writing of Soul of Idrisa. Soul of Idrisa is the story of a young woman growing into adulthood who has these same inner yearnings. She is an Atlantean, a group of psychic souls born with the ajna center or "third eye" externalized. This heightened sensitivity to the external and emotional environment requires that Atlanteans live a quiet physical life on the mountainside and restrict their day-to-day activities from those cultures that create sounds through the mouth and throat to communicate. Over time, Atlantean folklore has associated the manifested ajna center with The All-Seeing Eye as the highest deity. As is the case with systems in which people believe, the All Seeing Eye is made in their image and justifies Atlantean superiority.
