Daniel C Fitzgerald is a historian most famous for his six-volume Ghost Towns of Kansas series. His first book, Ghost Towns of Kansas Volume One, was published in 1976 when the author was 17. Sound and Fury is the culmination of ten years work and thousands of hours of research. This is the author's eighth full-length book. Fitzgerald has won several awards for his writing, including three news emmies. His work has expanded into several other projects, including a rock album by the band Kansas and several videos. Fitzgerald is currently a corporate trainer in Palm Harbor, Florida.
