Reviews

Very insightful and a delight to read

"This was the first of Malcolm Gladwell's books that I read and I was not disappointed. The book is thoroughly researched but written for a broad audience, so it's easy and enjoyable to read. It provides real insight into social and psychological issues that probably most of us miss in our day to day lives. Gives you a lot to think about."

Andrew (5/5)

It’s an insightful analysis of the complexities of human interaction and the pitfalls of trusting first impressions or snap judgments.

"Gladwell argues that humans are generally poor at interpreting the behavior of others, and he discusses how factors like context, personality, and cultural differences influence our perceptions. The book questions the reliability of our instincts and explores how systemic issues, rather than individual intent, often shape interactions with strangers."

Betül (5/5)

Another book by Malcolm Gladwell

"So far, I like all of his books because it really taught me how to think critically in ways I haven't though of before. The structure in which the author encourages us to think is great as well. I learn a bit of history from this book too :)"

I almost didn't read ""Talking to Strangers"". . .

"I wasn't convinced I needed to read ""Talking to Strangers"" but the first chapter kept me going. No, I don't agree with everything Malcolm Gladwell says, but this read kept me thinking about 'strangers', so many of whose ideas and actions we take for granted."
