Marsha J. Perlman is an award winning poet and non-fiction prose writer. SPIRIT LIFE, her book of environmental poetry received First Place Prize from the National League of American Pen Women. Essays and poems have appeared in numerous anthologies including WOMEN'S VOICES in the 21st CENTURY. As a photojournalist, she received awards for photography and reporting from Colorado Press Women. Her work appeared in national magazines and newspapers such as THE DENVER POST, CHRISTIAN SCIENCE MONITOR, TROPICALIA and also an online weekly. She was a Fulbright recipient to Great Britain, and was an invited Foreign Expert to China to instruct university faculties in the skills for teaching English. The author participates in ArtPoems, an annual collaboration and performance of poets, artists, dancers and musicians in Southwest Florida. She is a featured poet, at Earth Days, Veterans' Days and Poetry Month Fests. When not writing or reading, Marsha J. Perlman kayaks, hikes, travels and practices yoga. With family and friends, she enjoys theater, concerts, films, good food and laughter. She lives in Colorado and in Florida.
