One of my new favourite authors

"I discovered Kristin Harmel's books this summer. I love the pace, the rich story and the way all the details come together by the end. This story is no exception and covers the people who helped save children in WWII. I got a friend to read this book with me, and she loved it too! Great story!"

Victoria (5/5)

A splendid read

"A WWII tale of a French-Polish Jewish woman forging documents for children being smuggled to Switzerland. It’s a tale of hope and bravery that spans sixty-five years after the looting of Nazi-occupied France. A masterly tale, a splendid read."

Can't Put This Book Down

"I found this book so interesting that I had trouble putting it down. Even though it's fiction, there are many aspects of it that are believable. The human relationships I found very realistic, like Eva and her mother; the priest and the many people he dealt with."

An R. (5/5)

Book of List Names

Bev C. (5/5)

Loved it

"Really enjoyed this story. If you enjoy reading stories about things happening from WWII, you will enjoy this. The story makes you glued to the book as at times I couldn't put it down. I found I could visualize this story in my mind, and thing how brave these people were in helping the jewish people."
