Not really eye catching is it!
"After reading The Match , I had to fill in the background with this book. I like Coben’s story telling with his likeable characters."
— Diane (4/5)
Truly captivating and can't put it down 👇
"Harlan Coben is am outstanding writer who always keeps you guessing as to who did the crime. I have yet to read one of his books that didn't captive me into reading the next chapter. Can't put them down."
— Michelle H. (5/5)

Interesting how a BOY FROM THE WOODS becomes a savior of so many.
"Harlan Coben does not disappoint. Always a thriller to the end."
— Val C. (4/5)
A Good Read
"Read several Harlan Coban books and this one wasn’t his best. It’s a good read, whereby you don’t want to put the book down, but I was expecting more. The title is a bit confusing as the main character, Wilde, is an adult throughout the book. I was hoping to know about his family at the end but that never happened. The ending was a bit disappointing. Overall still a good book."
— Paula (4/5)
Riveting storyline.
"I read this book a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it. I bought this copy as a Christmas gift for a high school student."
— Alice H. (5/5)
A Smart Thriller For The Masses
"This book turned out to be much better than I thought. There were twists and turns all over the place. The characters are among Coben's best; we need to see some of them again in future books. A true page turner with some surprising yet realistic climaxes."
— Doug (5/5)
Solid ok
"Don’t even know where to go with this review. I didn’t love this book but I didn’t hate it either. I wanted to finish it but I wasn’t invested in the characters or the storyline. It was my second Harlan Coben book and I felt the same about it as I did the last one. It feels like a Quintin Tarantino movie, with over the top quirky characters and an enticing plot that sort of just coasts and at the end you ask yourself “what was that?” Wilde (the boy from the woods)is ex-army, private investigator, survivalist, psychologist type guy who lives off the grid and has complex relationships with pretty much everyone. When a teenager goes missing Wilde joins in to help find her . Then another teenager goes missing and there’s a crooked politician/future presidential candidate who may be somehow involved. There was just something about Wilde that I didn’t care for. Hester, a tv attorney who also helps investigate the missing kids was awesome though. There was something flat about this book. I can see it as a Netflix miniseries."
