Did not finish

"I tried really hard to like this book. I picked it up and put it down a hundred times but finally gave up on it after I found myself skimming the pages and barely paying attention. I got about a quarter way through. For one, there are WAY too many characters to keep track of. I couldn’t remember who was who. I also didn’t like how the book was set up - specifically, how the chapters were 30 pages of character switching. Very hard to get into. Someone else’s review said that there wasn’t enough plot and too much description. I couldn’t agree more I had no idea where this story was going. The synopsis was intriguing, which is why I bought it, but I did NOT feel like I was reading a mystery, I felt like I was reading a messed up-written version of Keeping Up With The Kardashian’s. So much boring crap (like fashion??) that I really didn’t care about."
