Loved

"Pleasantly surprised. Great “on a mission” and friendship building. Love every character. And a strong notion of you can be loved for exactly who you are. Can’t wait to read the second one"

Chanelle (4/5)

Nice fun read!

"It was a fun read! Not overly complicated story line. Story was Interesting. Even got to learn some old gods lore in the process!"

Jay. (5/5)

Excellent writing

"Love Pipers books, she has fast tracked herself to my favourite author. Love the mythology the story and the characters. The spice is so good too, reccomend all her books"

Kimberly (5/5)

The deer and the Dragon

"Great read can't wait for the next in the series to come, already ordered it! love fantasyromance with the steam!!"

Cynk (5/5)

Captured my attention

"A great read into fantasy and mythology. The author kept the perspective from the main character which helped as a reader, keep the immersion of the plot. Finished it during a trip overseas."

Erica (5/5)

Mess of a story

"The ending was not so much a cliffhanger as it was the floor falling out from under you mid-plot point. Genuinely didn't know where this book was going, which was a shame since the premise was fairly strong & it had a very interesting setting. Super disappointed."

Harrow T. (2/5)

Mostly Exposition, Mostly Self-inserted Fantasy

"This book was ok. Not what I would consider Piper's best work - it felt like a lot was her self inserting into a fantasy that she wanted for herself. Other than that, the main character Marlow was annoying and refuses to move the plot along for the majority of the book. Nothing happened for about 2/3 and a lot of it could have been cut. It felt like a lot of exposition for a future story."

Nick (2/5)

Fun

"Sookie Stackhouse meets Bobby Dollar. Don't let a minor error on the first page deter you -- I've seen far worse from more established authors."

Michael (5/5)

Amazing book

"Great plot and lovable characters, realistic mental health issues. Can't wait for the sequel."

Deig (5/5)

The deer and the dragon

"I cannot wait to start this one! It sounds captivating"
