For the historian in your life

"I first read a volume of this when I was younger and was ecstatic to find a full and complete edition. More of a historical research read than fairy tale book, I absolutely love the footnotes and potential historical events/culture that could have lead the myths to be known as they are today. It was a wonderful eye opener to seeing not only what the myths were like, but also the every day human aspect that upheld these beliefs and honoured them accordingly. It's truly a fantastic read as both a history and mythology lover."
