Not for me

"First I want to say I read the hardcover of this book but for whatever reason that edition isn’t on Goodreads :woman-shrugging: I was given this book by a friend who didn’t care for it when she read it so I didn’t go in with high hopes. I didn’t hate it and I didn’t love it. I feel like there were some either plot holes or unanswered things in the story that would get a me a bit confused like we were dropped somewhere in the story but had no info on how we got there. There was a slight creep factor but then not much after to keep that creepiness up. It was too short (I know it’s a novella) to get all the author wanted to have squished in the story. The ending felt rushed and unresolved. I did get through it quickly and I liked Mia the dog lol. Would I recommend this book? Possibly to a young reader that wouldn’t maybe pick up on all the things I dislike."
