Sandra Weeser served as a member of the German Bundestag from 2017 to 2025 and has been committed for many years to Franco-German cooperation as well as European security and defense policy.As a member of the Board of the Franco-German Parliamentary Assembly and a deputy member of the Committee on European Union Affairs and the Defense Committee, she gained extensive parliamentary experience and a deep understanding of both bilateral and European security issues. Professionally, she brings many years of leadership experience in the private sector, including roles as managing director and project leader for international transformation processes. Weeser holds dual citizenship (German-French) and has lived and worked internationally. Her particular interest lies in strengthening a sovereign Europe and advancing a capable European security architecture.
